I write with a sense of trepidation, almost as much as when I began The Fiertzeside, August 1st 2023.
He stood breathing, and the more he breathed the land in, the more he was filled up with all the details of the land. He was not empty. There was more than enough here to fill him. There would always be more than enough.
This is very much how I feel. Largely inspired by
and I have done more consistent magical work than I have for a long time. I am more generally a lazy witch. The recent insights I’ve experienced have been both formative and moving. I moved to Portugal 5 years ago wanting to reconnect with nature and design a regenerative land project. I am in the midst of that, but I don’t want it to be a part of my life, but a beauty of being.I will no longer continue The Fiertzeside, though I will still be an active Substack reader. Your words are endlessly inspiring and I hope I have more time to enjoy (and even act upon) them. This newsletter will remain open, giving you a chance to read any back posts you may have missed. Paid subscriptions have been cancelled and a pro rata refund, I believe,🤞, will be issued to those who pay annually. I will be in touch if there appears to be a problem with this.
I would like to thank all 165 of you who have supported The Fiertzeside and encouraged me personally through recommendations, reposts, mentions and comments. I greatly appreciate your contribution.
I’ve always enjoyed your writing. I’m so intrigued by what you are up to, so I hope you’ll update us once in a while. Meanwhile, happy reading and restoring. 💚
I will miss your writing, Safar, and hope you will post notes now and then. Life calls, and we must answer. The time it takes to gather and organize thoughts for writing as well as you do is significant, and it's best to let your energy flow where it wants to.
