Welcome to The Fiertzeside!
From locations around the world, most of which nobody has ever heard of, there are reasons for hope. From a group of retired women in a small town in West Yorkshire, England, to a forest on Majuli Island, India; from the district of Roma Sur in Mexico City to the wild horses of Newbury, England; from kitchen gardens in South Korea to a Cleveland family, there are reasons for hope. If you feel the weight of the world’s pain and feel there is nothing anyone can do, there are reasons for hope.
While the heroes of these stories rarely make headlines, their action is a small drop in a larger revolution.
We are in the middle of a revolution. It is not a revolution of swords and embittered words. It is not the revolution of tomorrow. It is not a revolution that has made the headlines. It is led by quiet revolutionaries and here, at The Fiertzeside, we celebrate their stories.
Here, we believe stories have the power to inspire and conversations to ignite action. Here, you will find passionate thinkers interested in a more beautiful world. Here, you will find a place in which you can join the conversation.
I hope you do.

Thinking about a different way to be
Are you fed up with bipartisan and lopsided politics? This series examines alternatives for a more equitable future.
